1. Trimming method of grinding wheel of CNC gear grinding machine
 
There are two main types of shaping wheel dressing: diamond pen and diamond roller. The utility model has a simple structure and low cost. In theory, higher trimming accuracy can be obtained. Due to severe wear, short life, difficult to estimate and inaccurate compensation, the consistency of the contour accuracy of the grinding wheel is poor, which has a great impact on the grinding of large gears, and is gradually replaced by diamond grinding wheel dressing. The utility model has high hardness, large dressing amount and high efficiency. The trajectory envelope method is more suitable for the trimming of complex curved surfaces. Diamond roll dressing methods can be divided into cutting roll dressing and swing roll dressing.
 
2. Cut-in roll trimming
 
The dressing motor drives the diamond grinding wheel to rotate at a high speed, cutting along the radial direction of the grinding wheel. In order to dress the forming surface, the diamond grinding wheel and the grinding wheel move relative to each other in the axial direction. As shown in Figure 2, when dressing the forming grinding wheel, the dressing roller and the grinding wheel rotate around their respective centers of rotation at a certain linear speed ratio. The grinding wheel moves back and forth along its own axis (Y axis), and the dressing roller moves in a certain proportion along its own radial direction (W axis). The Y-axis and W-axis interpolate arcs or straight lines, and the R-arc center of diamond rollers interpolate equidistant contour lines. The cross section of the grinding wheel is surrounded by the contact points between the roller and the grinding wheel.
 
3. Swing roller trimming
 
The dressing structure of the swing type diamond grinding roller is more complicated, and five actions need to be realized: grinding wheel rotation, diamond grinding roller rotation, diamond grinding roller swing, grinding wheel offset, and dressing feed. In this method, the cross section of the diamond grinding wheel is always on the normal section of the grinding wheel profile, and only one point on the R arc of the diamond grinding wheel is used to dress the grinding wheel, which is similar to the dressing of the grinding wheel with a diamond tip.
 
4. Standard trimming device
 
The polar coordinate shaping device combines the characteristics of cut-in and swing shaping. The numerical control system controls the plane movement of the diamond roller in the polar coordinate system, envelopes the section curve of the grinding wheel shaft, and realizes the shaping and shaping of the grinding wheel. When dressing the grinding wheel, the dressing roller and the grinding wheel rotate around their respective centers of rotation at a certain linear speed ratio. The grinding wheel swings around the swing center, and the dressing roller moves linearly toward the grinding wheel in the radial direction. Through the interpolation of the linear axis and the rotary axis, the cross section of the grinding wheel is trimmed to match the tooth groove of the gear to be ground.
